You quickly find that the menuing systems are highly structured - not allowing much room for creativity or deviation from what the software package allows.

Our Authoring Services take your presentation beyond the limitations of consumer DVD software packages. In addition, we incorporate customized elements specific to your project to give the final product a truly polished look.

Our Development Process.

Content assembly/creation

First you will provide your content "Shopping list" for the DVD. This will be material that you already have. Video will need to be converted for DVD usage - a nd edited if necessary. Physical materials need to be scanned or digital material converted to the proper size/format.

Next - any content you do not provide will need to be created. We will determine what it will take to supply these elements.

Music - any music to be used will need to be reviewed to insure that all copyrights are upheld. Customized "Royalty-free" music can be provided at rates determined by our vendors.

Authoring

Next we develop the menu structure and incorporate the elements. At this stage we add features and special touches that enhance the presentation.

This is an iterative process that can take several development cycles - such is the nature of creativity!

Proof

We create a "proof" copy of the final presentation for your review. Based on your feedback - we may need to tweak the presentation and rework any areas that are specified during the review.

Final Production

We then create the master copies of the DVD. Our buring technology allows us to burn the label directly on the disk for a professional look.

Custom packaging can be developed if a conventional DVD case is desired.

Post Production

After production - if significant numbers of disks are required - a separate replication process is used through a replication vendor. We can act as the facilitator for this work - or you can provide your own replicator.
